Section 1 — HCI Mission & Work Environment

Healthcare Inspired LLC provides compliance-focused coding, auditing, education, and revenue-cycle support to healthcare organizations. Our team members are expected to maintain accuracy, make decisions based on documentation and applicable regulations, accept feedback, communicate professionally, and learn new technology and workflows.

Section 2 — Required Client-Facing Responsibilities

This position may involve direct interaction with physicians, administrators, attorneys, clients, and HCI leadership. Employees may be asked to explain or support their work, answer questions, participate in meetings, and professionally address disagreements.

Section 3 — Video Meeting Requirement

Although this is a remote position, it is also a client-facing professional position. When a client requests a video meeting, employees are expected to be professionally presented and prepared to communicate appropriately on behalf of HCI.

Video meetings are not a constant requirement of this position. However, when a client or business need arises, employees are expected to be camera-ready and professionally presented.

Section 4 — Professional LinkedIn & HCI Industry Presence

Healthcare Inspired maintains an active professional presence within the healthcare industry. Certain HCI positions require employees to participate in reasonable company-related professional engagement. We are not asking for access to private social-media accounts, passwords, private content, or personal social-media activity.

Section 5 — Professional Profile After Hire

HCI maintains professional biographies and photographs of appropriate team members for legitimate business purposes. These may be used on the HCI website, educational materials, client-facing materials, presentations, or other company-approved professional content.

HCI does not require an applicant photograph as part of this pre-employment assessment.

HCI works across multiple client systems. The ability to learn new technology, navigate different EMR/EHR platforms, and work efficiently in Microsoft Office is important for this position.

HCI operates in a high-volume environment. These questions assess how you manage productivity and accuracy under real-world workqueue pressure.

Section 17 — Professional Pressure & Conflict

These questions are about workplace behavior, not medical conditions or personal health information. They assess your ability to communicate professionally and maintain composure during challenging professional interactions.

Section 18 — Accountability & Feedback

These questions assess your ability to accept feedback professionally, respond to audit findings appropriately, and learn from mistakes.

Section 19 — Real-World HCI Workflow

The following scenario is designed to assess your real-world judgment and prioritization skills in a typical HCI environment.

Scenario — It is 2:00 PM.

  • You have 42 encounters remaining in your workqueue.
  • A physician has emailed you questioning three coding decisions.
  • A client needs an answer about a claim before the end of the day.
  • Your auditor returned two encounters for correction.
  • You encounter a surgical case you cannot confidently code without additional research.
